Before Dan quit working on Thursday at noon, he almost got the soffit on the back side of the garage done. You probably can't tell much from the picture, but he is about a foot from the end where the garage roof meets the house roof.
It is done on the back of the house. I'm really liking the green! I should, green is my favorite color!
Maybe you can tell better from this picture where he ended...
I took this one, where the deck rail used to join the house so you can see all the colors. The blue is the color of the house when we bought it. The darker yellow is the color of the house right after we painted, and the light yellow is the color of the faded house, currently.

All my plants are doing well on the driveway, where they get sun and I can still water them.

Dan will be hard at work again on Monday. Next week we should have a new kitchen window where the garden window is now, a new patio door, and a new bow window in the living room.
I really like my garden window, but they don't make them anymore because of heat loss. That is why the bow window is coming in the living room, so I'll have somewhere to put my orchids. We'll see if they do as well facing East as they did facing South? I hope they do.
Eventually there will be a stamped, colored concrete patio where the deck used to be with a fire pit at the end. This will curve around the side of the garage over to the gate. We will have more stamped, colored concrete in the front of the house as well. None of this will happen until the siding is up. So the remodel continues for a few more weeks - at least!
Have a great 4th of July! My next update might be about the big boy scout hike in Philmont, New Mexico...or it may be more soffit pictures...you'll have to wait and see!
